விதுர நீதி கூறும் வாழ்க்கையின் தத்துவம்-

எந்த இரண்டுகளை பற்ற வேண்டும், எந்த இரண்டுகளை விட வேண்டும்

எந்த இரண்டுகளை பற்ற வேண்டும், எந்த இரண்டுகளை விட வேண்டும் - விதுர நீதி

அடுத்ததாக இரண்டுகளைப் பற்றி கீழ் வருமாறு விதுரர் விவரிக்கிறார்.

1.  இந்த  இரண்டு பேரும் பாம்பின் வாயில் அகப் பட்ட தவளை போல அழிந்து விடுவர்.

• சத்ரியன் ராஜாவாகவும் ராணுவ தலைவனாகவும் இருந்து விட்டு வரவழைத்த யுத்தத்திற்கு போக மாட்டேன் என்று சொல்பவன்.
• பிராமணனாக  இருந்து ஊர் ஊராக  சென்று தொண்டு புரியாதவன். 

2. இந்த இரண்டு விஷயங்களை செய்பவர்கள் கொண்டாடப் படுவர்.

• கெட்டவன் என்று தெரிந்து அவனை அர்ச்சிக்காதவன் அல்லது அவனை நல்லவன் என்று புகழ்பவன்.
• மற்றவர்களை துன்புறுத்தும் வார்த்தைகளை உபயோகிக்காதவனை  கொண்டாடுபவன்.

3. இந்த இரண்டு பேர்களுக்கும் சுய புத்தி கிடையாது.

• மற்ற ஸ்திரிகளின் வஸ்துகளுக்கு (பொருட்களுக்கு) ஆசை பட்டு அதை அனுபவிக்க, வாங்க ஆசைப்படும் ஸ்திரிகள்
• .ஒருவனைப் பற்றி தெரிந்து கொள்ளாமலேயே மற்றவர்கள் சொன்னார்கள் என்று உண்மையை தெரிந்துகொள்ளாமல் அவனைப் பற்றி புகழ்பவர்கள்.

4. இந்த இரண்டும் முள் போல குத்திக் கொண்டே இருக்கும்.

• ஒருவனது கையில் காசு இல்லை என்றாலும் பலவற்றை வாங்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆசைபட்டால் 
• அந்த ஆசை தனக்கு சக்தி அல்லது பதவி  இல்லை என்று தெரிந்தும் கோபப்பட்டால்  அந்த கோபம்.

5. இந்த இரண்டு கர்மாக்களை செய்பவன் விளங்குவதில்லை.

• எந்த வேலையும் செய்யாமல் இருக்கும் கிரகஸ்தன் (இல்லத்தரசன்)
• வேலை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கும் சந்நியாசி.

6. இந்த இரண்டு பேரும் சொர்க்கத்தை விட உயர்ந்த இடத்தில் நிற்கிறார்கள்

• பொறுமை உள்ள பணக்காரன்  
• தரித்திரனாக இருந்தும் தன்னிடம் உள்ளதை தானம் செய்பவன்.

7. இந்த இரண்டு செயல்களும் ஏற்று கொள்ளப் படாது 

• ஏற்பதுக்கு தகுதி உள்ளவனுக்கு கொடுப்பது 
• ஏற்கும் சக்தி உள்ளவனுக்கு கொடுக்காமல் இருப்பது

8. இந்த இரண்டு பேரும் கழுத்தில் கல்லை கட்டிக்கொண்டு கிணற்றில் இறங்குபவர்கள்.

• தனம் இருந்தும் ஈயாதவன் (சம்சாரக் கடலில் மூழ்கி விடுவான்)
• காசு இல்லை ஆனால்  உலகத்து கஷ்டங்களை தாங்கிக் கொள்ளும் சக்தி இல்லாதவன்.  (திருடு, கொள்ளை என்று பல விதங்களில் மாட்டிக் கொண்டு விடுவான்.)

9. இந்த இரண்டு பேரும் சூரிய மண்டலத்தை தாண்டிய உயர் கதியை அடைவார்கள்.

• யோகம் மற்றும் வைராக்கியம் உள்ள சந்நியாசி 
• போர்களத்தில் இறந்த வீரன்.

இவ்வாறு விதுரர் இரண்டுகளைப் பற்றி அழகாக விவரிக்கிறார். அடுத்து மூன்றுகளைப் பற்றி என்ன விவரித்தார் , அடுத்த அத்தியாத்தில் பார்ப்போம்.

 The VIDURA describes the next two as follows.

 1. These two will perish like a frog trapped in the mouth of a snake. 

• Chatriya is the one who says he will not go to war which he has left behind as king and army chief.
• Going from village to village as a Brahmin and not being charitable.

 2. Those who do these two things will be celebrated.

•  One who knows that he is bad and does not worship him or praises him as good.
•  One who celebrates one who does not use words that offend others.

 3. These two people have no self-consciousness.

•  Women who crave other women's things (goods) and enjoy and buy it.
•  Those who glorify one without knowing the truth that others have said without knowing about him.

 4. Both of these will continue to pierce like thorns.

•  If one has no money in hand but wants to buy many things then that desire
•  That anger is when he gets angry knowing that he has no power or position.

 5. The doer of these two karmas does not understand.

•  Krakasthan (Housewife) who does not do any work
•  The monk who thinks he has to work.

 6. These two men stand in a higher place than heaven.

•  Rich in patience
•  One who donates what he has despite being poor.

 7. Both of these actions are unacceptable

•  Giving to someone who deserves to be accepted
•  Not giving to someone who has the power to accept

 8. These two are the ones who go down into the well with a stone around their neck.

•  Eyatavan from crap (will sink in the sea of ​​samsara.)
•  One who has no money but no strength to endure the hardships of the world.  (He will get caught in many ways such as theft and robbery.)

 9. These two will reach high altitudes beyond the solar system.

•  Sannyasi in yoga and zeal
•  Veteran who died on the battlefield.

Thus the VIDURA describes the two's beautifully. We will see in the next chapter what he described about the next three's.
